CASTRUCCIO-AMESTOY COMPANY –
In a review of the business houses of this city few are deserving of such high praise as is gladly accorded to the fine old grocery firm, known at present as the Castruccio-Amestoy Co., established long ago by the Castrucclo brothers. The firm is an incorporated one with Mr. B. Castruccio as president, the secretary being Mr. J. B. Amestoy. The popularity of this large wholesale and retail grocery business has necessitated the establishing of two stores In the business district, one at 225 North Spring street and one at l34-136 North Main. These stores are both spacious and fully stocked with everything in staple and fancy groceries. Their delivery wagons go all over the city, as this house has a very large share of Los Angeles grocery trade among hotels, boarding houses and private houses. They carry at all times the famous imported Castruccio Bros.& #39; olive oil, so highly regarded by connoisseurs, and other of their specialties is the handling of all kinds of French, Italian and Norwegian goods and dainties for table use.
Original Stock Certificates are in White 3-binder folder.
Also donated to Encino Chamber of Commerce, CA.
